QB Lions teams up with Detroit nonprofit to launch clothing collection
DETROIT –Lions quarterback Jared Goff has teamed up with Detroit students in a new apparel collection collaboration.
The collection launched this week, and you may have heard about it in the latest episode of the HBO documentary “hard knocks.”
All the t-shirts, hoodies and hats that are part of this collection have been designed by young people from the Give merit destiny program.
The program gives Detroit’s 175 students Jalen Rose Leadership Academy an opportunity to work on real business projects and college scholarships.
Every final sale goes to the scholarship fund, and Goff plans to match 100%.
It’s a dream come true not only for the teenagers involved, but also for the people behind the non-profit organization.
