[410] Detroit Lions OTA Report

[410] Detroit Lions OTA Report

After a week off, Chris and Jeff come together to break down the latest Detroit Lions OTA (Organized Team Activities) news, position moves, waiver wire moves, our annual Camp Listener Appreciation Party Workout, St. Jude Fundraiser, and Lots Lots Suite! Give the guys a week to recharge their batteries, and they’ll come back tired but with a ton of new stuff to cover. As Tony Soprano would say, “what are you going to do?”

Detroit Lions Podcast OTAs are underway

The Detroit Lions OTA has begun, Jeff has been there as a witness and will report what he has seen so far from Aidan Hutchinson and the rest of the team with his take on how things are going are taking place so far. Remember – even Chris would look like a first overall pick in shorts, there’s a long way to go from here… Some injury info, Jameson Williams is there every day, dying to get to work while he heals, just like the rest of the players we are looking to return from injury this year. Jeff Okudah even does solo exercises. Lots of great stories to follow this year.

The Detroit Lions made a move on the waiver wire and picked up DL John Cominsky, who was a hot commodity. Chris and Jeff will discuss his addition to the team, as well as what to expect from him. We will also discuss Ifaetu Melifonwu taking snaps at the safe position. Definitely a new position for him on the Lions.

We’ll also share our trailer made for our 24 Hour Show and St. Jude Fundraising Event, as well as start talking about the annual Boot Camp and Listener Appreciation Party. We’ve got some preview information for you on what you’ll definitely want to catch. We’ll also talk about how Michael Brockers isn’t a June 1 cut and the “where’s Julian Okwara going” conversation will come to life in this episode. Buckle up, it’s going to be big!

Speaking of “buckle up,” make sure you head to our project with Detroit Lions cornerback Jerry Jacobs to help charities in Detroit. It’s a great opportunity to get some great gear and make a difference in the city we all love.
