Lions Club and LiveLife Pharmacy join forces

Tewantin Noosa Lions Club turns 55 this month and to celebrate the milestone, it has partnered with LiveLife Pharmacies across Queensland from the Sunshine Coast to Airlie Beach.

Over the next two months, a range of personal care kits will be packaged by Lions and distributed through various Lions Clubs, community groups, councils and with the support of Queensland Domestic Violence Officers.

These care packs will be available across Queensland, for those who need them in areas along the coast, in small country towns, in the west and far north of Queensland.

Tewantin Noosa Lions Club coordinator for the project, Michael Roach, said: “Our Tewantin Noosa Lions Club is delighted with this partnership with LiveLife Pharmacy and the involvement of their many pharmacies across Queensland.

“From our previous partnership a few years ago, our club received many moving emails from recipients expressing their gratitude for the items received when the funds and the crisis impacted their daily lives and those of their children.

“We are also looking for other community-minded individuals to come join us in these rewarding Lions projects.”

LiveLife Pharmacies Managing Director Clint Coker said, “I am delighted to partner with Lions given the fantastic work they do in the many communities they serve across Queensland.

“This is LiveLife Pharmacy’s second joint venture with the Lions and we are very pleased to once again contribute to their valuable humanitarian relief program on behalf of not only the communities we serve directly, but also those who need it. most needed.

“It is comforting to know that if our immediate community were in need, Lions Clubs of Queensland would reciprocate.

“We would like to thank our suppliers and participating LiveLife Pharmacy stores in Queensland who together have donated over $30,000 worth of product to this worthy cause.

“LiveLife Pharmacy is proud to support various community organizations and initiatives through its Community Support Program (more information about this program can be found at livelifepharmacy.com).”

The program was introduced by the Tewantin Noosa Lions Club, in partnership with LiveLife Pharmacy.
