The Lazy Lions NFT Collection is a unique collection of 10,000 lions, programmatically generated from over 160 possible traits. This includes various clothes, manes, expressions, etc. With Lazy Cubs arriving this month, here’s everything you need to know about this collection.
Lazy Lions released in Fall 2021, sold out in 5 hours, and has seen many successful collaborations. Surely there’s something about it, isn’t there? At the time of writing, NFTs have a floor price of 0.8 ETH, with a trading volume of 28.9k ETH. There are 5.1,000 lion owners, but the community as a whole is incredibly huge, soon reaching 200,000 members. This community includes people like Jake Paul, John Terry, Seth Curry, and many other celebrities.
BlockchainMedia PTY LTD. is the team behind this project. The collection features a group of lions, known as kings and queens, roaming freely on the private island. Ever since they got rich in NFT space, they rest on this secret island. There are drinks at the cabana bar, gym, shopping mall, hot tubs, hammocks, and other cool stuff you want on a private island.
Lazy Lions holders received a Bungalow airdrop some time ago, and an additional 1,500 bungalows were on public sale. These are basically social media banners for holders to showcase their lions and other NFTs.
Obviously, there’s a ton of stuff happening on the private island. The team has not released any details regarding the roadmap except for this photo. If I had to do my best, here are the things that could happen to you. After the NBA Sacramento Kings partnership, we are expecting more basketball-related collaborations soon. Other partnerships that should see more action include the Coinbase and Chainlink partnerships.
As for the metaverse, the lions should be able to relax in The Sandbox as soon as the team continues to develop the land. We also see a DAO being introduced in the near future as the community grows rapidly.
The team has reconfirmed that Lazy Cubs will be released in May 2022. As we speak, they continue to actively donate whitelist spots through their Discord and other collaborations. All Lazy Lions owners will receive a free Lazy Cubs NFT, and the snapshot will be taken soon. Bungalow owners who do not have a Lion will also get a place on the permission list to finally and officially enter the club.
There will be many more Cubs than Lions, so more people will have the chance to join the family.
